I stand aside as I watch them fall from the sky! I wash my hands of this sin, I feel the anger within, it’s building up from inside, now it’s just beneath the skin. I feel the need to explode; my fuse is ready to go. They're not welcome in his, his great holy abode. I stand aside as I watch them fall from the sky! Here they remain stranded on earth, hear them cry! They cannot go there, no wings, they cannot fly! Stranded here still among us, here they will… I wash my hands of this crime, the dirt, the filth, and the grime. They wander graveyards alone, where you can hear them cry. They know they do not belong, but they are not in the wrong. I fear that they will not find what they deserved all along. I stand aside as I watch them fall from the sky! Here they remain stranded on earth, hear them cry! They cannot go there, no wings, they cannot fly! Stranded here still among us, here they will die! They will die! They wander alone, fallen angels. They have no home. Cold terror grips me from within, fallen angels. They will not win! I stand aside as I watch them fall from the sky! Here they remain stranded on earth, hear them cry! They cannot go there, no wings, they cannot fly! Stranded here still among us, here they will die!

Catharsis 06:15
In this world so cold, where their bodies have been sold. Equipped with ungodly power, a taste once sweet now turned to sour. Shackled to their graves, living out their lives as slaves. Now covered in the earth's soil, their world now turned into turmoil. What's this that stands before me? Lives lost that still have meaning? Dead inside not in heaven, angels living with demons, on the outside looking in. Heavy is my soul, mourning death that was not old. Lost are those that we keep closest, we need healing and catharsis. Keep your loved ones close, keep your enemies away. Don't take anything for granted, it will turn to sand and granite. What's this that stands before me? Lives lost that still have meaning? Dead inside not in heaven, angels living with demons, on the outside looking in. Fixing what's not broke, giving a sense of false hope. Bleeding are the hearts of many, restless are the souls we carry. Trying to let go, you must reap all that you sow. Plant the seeds that make a forest, watch it form and overtake us. What's this that stands before me? Lives lost that still have meaning? Dead inside not in heaven, angels living with demons, on the outside looking in.

You try to keep me down; you try to make me break. Alone and scarred you’ll leave me, an enemy you’ll make. Nuts and bolts in the federation of tools, made to hold together and not pull apart. But when you don't do what you’re told to, you're cast out if you don't fit the mold. But if you think you can get underneath me, pull out the rug, and drag me into the sea, hold my head deep beneath the waves. Feel my lungs begin to burst into flames. Maybe it's the way that we feel it, the gravity of the stony truth that divides us, pulling us down to the deepest depths like we've never seen before. Maybe this is the end; I hold my breath again, pulling me down to the deepest depths, I’ll never feel again. What if we're all born to lose? Then we'll live to win. Will we live to the sun rise? Even if it dies. What if we all live in sin? Then we'll die to change. What if we refuse to fight? Then we won't know what's right. I've got a thousand lives to live, but no time to live them. It's just another opportunity that we were not given. Maybe if we were numb, we wouldn't feel it. If there's nothing to hold us down, we won't believe it. You're limited to what you see if you only use your eyes. The opportunities given, wrapped up in a disguise. Don't neglect what you are trying to reach if it's too close to touch. Asking for more, when it's already too much. Maybe it's the way that we feel it, the gravity of the stony truth that divides us, pulling us down to the deepest depths like we've never seen before. Maybe this is the end; I hold my breath again, pulling me down to the deepest depths, I’ll never feel again. Waiting on the world to break but all it does is crack. It burns up in the stratosphere, all until it turns to ash. I'm a psychopathic parliament, a spastic overseer, just another bad conjuncture that they forged and delivered. To this day, I'm just another slave to my mind, grinding me up, whipping me, and threatening me with knives. But I'm done with the escape routes leading to the beginning. I wish that I could find a worthful place that holds some sort of meaning. Circumcise my mind, pull back the cortex. Find this tumor that helps me make up my mind. Maybe this is the end; I hold my breath again, pulling me down to the deepest depths, I’ll never feel again.

about

The kaleidoscope of emotions felt in the mourning process is hard to describe. The five stages of grief are a good way of seeing if someone is in pain, and where they are in the grieving process. In this EP, we collect those emotions in song.
